Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, and which rights you have under Swiss law (revised Federal Act on Data Protection, revFADP), European law (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and U.S. state law, in particular the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

2. What this website does not do
No cookies are set. No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media plugins are used. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
3. Server log files
Our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. automatically processes technical data your browser transmits when you open this website: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, Art. 31 revFADP). Cloudflare may process data in the United States; transfers are based on the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
4. Request form
When you request SessionBack through the form, we process your name, email address, your optional message and your IP address to answer you and send the install link (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR). To block automated spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which is loaded only when you start filling in the form. Your message is delivered to us by email through Resend, Inc. (USA). We keep requests as long as needed to answer them and as required by law.
5. The SessionBack tool
SessionBack runs entirely on your own computer. It reads the local session index of the Claude desktop app and the list of transcripts that Claude Code keeps on your machine, and it writes the missing session registrations into the account you are signed in to. It never opens, copies or uploads a transcript, it makes no network requests of its own, and we receive no data from the tool. Every import is backed up locally and can be undone.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
